Who Has the Most Kills as Batman in Film Series?

Hmm. That’s actually an interesting question. And it's probably hard to accurately calculate. But estimates can be made. So why not play this game?

Estimating Kills: A Comparative Analysis

For the record, I will use four of the most famous actors portraying Batman. Skipping West Clooney, Kilmer, and so on, I'll stick to the most recognizable and discussed ones. Without further ado!

Christian Bale

Blowing the League of Assassins: Can't say exactly. Minimum ten. Around 12–15 I would say. Later, of course, Ra's. He also straight-up murdered Talia's driver in pure 'Batfleck' style. With machine guns and 'pew pew' explosions.

Well, he killed Talia as well, so… Sucks to be al Ghul I guess. Oh, and he killed Two-Face too. I do not question if he had to do it or not. Just pointing to the body count.

Total Bat Kills: Can't say. I would say between 15–20.

Psycho Keaton

This one was a weird one. His portrayal of a crazy freak when he first appeared in The Flash is kinda on point. He roofied a girl, sexually assaulted her, and was a maniac in general. But kills? Around ten in the factory, blown to smithereens. I counted nine or ten. All dead as F.

Parade and Batwing: Minimum 7 dead plus the Joker. Minimum!

Penguin

This guy. This guy. This guy.

Total Bat Kills: Can't say exactly either. I would estimate around 20 as well. Justo in soooo much more psycho style.

Batfleck

Oh, boy. This one is a doozy:

Disclaimer: Impossible to count, really similar to Keaton since he is active for 20 years and we don't know when he became lethal. Nor do we count the Knightmare scene that never happened in the end. So, just a movie itself.

But it is a lot. By far the most of those four. Unless predator Keaton killed more off-screen :D

Another impossible factor to determine. While not his kill, it resulted in a few deaths. May be Luthor, but the marker is set by the Bat. Unintentional death is still a count. Can't say the number though. Two. I think.

Another two minimum. Two more. I do not see a driver here. Dude in the middle. Dead. Two more. So dead. Neck is not going back. Another one. Yeah. Toasted. The guy Ben was holding. Also on fire. Two more. Altogether probably more died in this scene, but I can't really say how many, or if other blows were deadly. Probably though.

Total Bat Kills: At the very least 20. VERY VERY LEAST! Plus 10 in Knightmare. The scenes do not show clearly how many he killed but my guess is around 30 in those cars and warehouse. Even if I can't say for certain. Batfleck kills. A lot. The most of those four.

Pattinson

Dude never killed a bad guy yet. He did, however, kill innocents without any regard for them. Something other Batmen did not. They killed, but villains or their henchmen. This one doesn't give a fuck. Weird moral code if you ask me. Kinda protecting not the ones he should.

So:

That is a vehicle manslaughter. Caused by a vigilante forcing the situation to happen. Vigilantism of Batman is one thing. Being so reckless to just freaking cause the death of a minimum of 5 or 4 people, probably more, just to get a half-ass decent clue is so much not Bat. Even less than killing bad people. Or on the same level. In my opinion, worse. It doesn't matter, Penguin rammed the car. Batman pushed the gas pedal. It is the equivalent of Batman choosing to pursue a criminal who threatens to kill a person every time he comes closer. And coming closer despite the bloodbath.

What is even more fucked up? Because Batman has such a rage tunnel vision, it makes no sense with his character. Not even in Year One or Zero Bruce is that obsessed with choosing a meaningless catch over death of civilians. I get it, you are vengeance, just a terrible one.

This looks cool.

Except there are people dying behind you, and you choose to do a slow walk to make an impression. Firefighters will do it in a couple of minutes. Let's show Penguin how fabulous you are. Cool, I saw it before.

Thank God he didn't have sex with a penguin while those humans burned. Thank God for that.

Total Bat Kills: 4. Can't say for certain. The lowest number and yet by far the worst.
